How Alcoris Works
Alcoris is an independent information and enquiry-routing service. We publish technical and commercial reference material on hydrocarbon solvents and related industrial chemicals. We are not a trader, distributor, or supplier, and we do not sell product.
When you submit an enquiry, we forward your requirement to one or more qualified third-party suppliers in our network. Those suppliers may then offer to supply on their own commercial terms. Any resulting supply contract is concluded directly between you and the supplier. Alcoris is not a party to that contract.
SDS and TDS Available at Inquiry
Current, CLP-compliant Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets are provided before supply, not after order confirmation.
Supply within REACH framework, EU and UK markets
Products routed through the network originate from documented, REACH-aligned supply chains. UK REACH requirements are understood and accommodated for buyers operating under British regulatory frameworks.
Each Enquiry Reviewed and Routed
Commercial enquiries are reviewed and, where they fit the network, routed to a supplier operating in the relevant product category for the requirement. Where an enquiry falls outside what the network can reasonably support, we say so directly rather than leave it without a clear answer.
Supply Origin Documented on Request
Source documentation, batch traceability, and supplier declarations are available where available from the relevant supplier. Products without appropriate documentation are not typically routed.
Active in Five Core European Markets
We work with buyers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom and understand the logistical, regulatory, and documentation requirements of each market.
Our Network Model
Alcoris operates as an information and enquiry-routing layer between industrial buyers and a network of independent European suppliers. The focus is on product categories where technical knowledge, documentation discipline, and reliable supply origin are procurement-grade requirements rather than afterthoughts.
The network consists of independent producers and primary distributors known to us from prior market interaction. Before an enquiry is routed, we assess whether it can reasonably be routed within the network, whether documentation is typically available from the relevant supplier, and whether regulatory standing is in order. Where a requirement falls outside what the network can support, we say so directly rather than forward a poor-fit enquiry.
Enquiries typically come from procurement managers, technical directors, and supply chain leads at manufacturing and formulation businesses. What they need is accurate product documentation, a supplier-side contact who can engage on technical questions, and a reliable route to repeat supply. The network is built around that expectation.
Network Discipline
The network consists of independent producers and distributors known to us from prior market interaction. Supply is always fulfilled by the supplier on their own commercial terms, Alcoris does not trade, hold stock, or invoice for product.
Documentation as Standard
Products offered through the network come with a current, CLP-compliant Safety Data Sheet. Technical Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, and supplier declarations are expected to be available at the point of enquiry, not assembled after an order is placed.
Geographic Coverage
Enquiries are routed for industrial buyers across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. The network is familiar with the logistics, documentation, and regulatory requirements of each market. Delivery itself is organised by the supplier according to the agreed commercial terms.
Commercial Relationship Model
The model is built around structured, repeat supply relationships between buyers and suppliers in the network, rather than one-off transactions. First-qualification enquiries are welcome. Where a buyer's internal supplier approval process requires specific documentation from the eventual supplier, Alcoris can help coordinate the request.
Product Coverage
A reference index to the main solvent families and grades for which European industrial buyers commonly submit enquiries.
If your specification falls outside the families above, contact us directly. Enquiries outside the standard portfolio are accepted where the specification is clearly defined and supply origin can be documented.
Contact usQuality & Compliance
In chemical supply, documentation is not an afterthought. Every product offered through the network is supported by current, accurate, and regulatory-compliant documentation before supply is arranged.
EU Regulatory Framework
All products routed to buyers in EU member states are handled within supply chains operating under REACH. Substances are correctly identified, classification is aligned with current CLP regulations, and Safety Data Sheets are prepared by the supplier in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 and its current amendments. Substances of very high concern are not routed without confirmed authorisation and appropriate documentation.
UK Regulatory Alignment
For buyers operating under UK REACH and UKCA requirements, we understand the documentation and supply chain obligations that apply post-transition. Safety Data Sheets for UK supply are prepared in accordance with UK regulatory requirements and reference the correct GB exposure limits and regulatory references, not EU equivalents carried over without revision.
Safety Data Sheets
Current, CLP-compliant Safety Data Sheets are provided at the point of inquiry, not after an order is placed. SDS documents are maintained, reviewed on a regular basis, and updated when regulatory requirements change or when product composition or classification is revised.
Supporting Documentation
Technical Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, and supplier declarations are available on request for all products offered through the network. Where a buyer's internal supplier approval process requires specific documentation, the request is directed to the relevant supplier, who issues the documentation directly.
Supply Boundary
Products without appropriate documentation are not typically routed. If a product cannot be handled with complete, current, and accurate documentation, it is not put forward to buyers.
Industries We Work With
The products covered by the network are used across a range of industrial sectors. In each, the supply requirements, application context, and documentation expectations are distinct. The network operates within that context, not around it.
Coatings, Adhesives, and Sealants
Hydrocarbon solvents, oxygenated solvents, and aromatic intermediates for formulators producing decorative, industrial, and protective coatings. Buyers in this sector require VOC classification data, REACH compliance records, and consistent specification across repeat supply cycles.
Printing Inks and Graphic Arts
Aliphatic and aromatic solvents and esters used in the formulation of offset, flexographic, and gravure inks. Offered by suppliers to specification with full purity and composition documentation as standard.
Industrial Cleaning and Maintenance
Dearomatised and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, alcohols, and ketones used in industrial parts cleaning, surface preparation, and maintenance formulations. Documentation for end-use compliance and workplace safety assessments provided on request.
Chemical Manufacturing and Synthesis
Aromatic intermediates, alcohols, and basic industrial chemicals used as raw materials and process solvents in chemical manufacturing. Buyers typically require documented origin, consistent purity specifications, and supplier qualification support.
Rubber, Polymer, and Plastics Processing
Hydrocarbon solvents and aromatic intermediates for rubber compounding, polymer processing, and plastics manufacturing. Specification requirements vary by application and regional regulatory framework; sourced to specification with full process documentation.
Pharmaceutical and Personal Care
Alcohols, ketones, and selected oxygenated solvents sourced for pharmaceutical manufacturing and personal care formulation where purity grade, pharmacopoeial compliance references, and REACH documentation are qualification requirements.
If your sector is not listed, that does not mean an enquiry cannot be routed for it. Contact us with your specification and we will assess whether it fits within the scope of the network.
Getting Started
We keep the inquiry and supply process straightforward. Here is what to expect when you contact Alcoris.
Submit an Inquiry
Send us your product requirement using the form below or by direct email. The more specific you can be about product specification, application, required volume, and delivery location, the more useful our initial response will be. We do not require a formal tender document or a completed supplier registration form before we respond.
What We Need to Respond Usefully
A clear product description or specification, an indication of volume and frequency, your delivery location or country, and any specific documentation requirements your business applies to new chemical suppliers. If you are at an early evaluation stage and cannot yet confirm volumes, tell us that. We respond to qualification inquiries in the same way we respond to active supply inquiries.
What You Receive in Return
A substantive response confirming whether your requirement can be routed to the network, an indicative supplier-side price range where one can reasonably be given at this stage, a note on available documentation and lead time, and any questions that need answering before a formal offer can be issued by the supplier. We aim to handle enquiries as promptly as we can, with no automated replies or holding emails.
Evaluating Alcoris Before You Enquire
If your procurement or compliance process requires verifying an external contact before engaging, the Legal Notice sets out Alcoris's identity, operating basis, and the nature of the routing relationship. Supplier-qualification documentation, company registration, VAT identification, insurance certificates, quality certifications, SDS, CoA, is held by the supplier, not by Alcoris, and is shared by them at the point a formal offer is made. A specific product enquiry is usually a cleaner starting point than a general capability question, because the routing process and the supplier-side documentation flow are easier to follow against a concrete requirement.
Technical Reference
If you are at an evaluation stage and need technical context before submitting an inquiry, the following guides may be a useful starting point.
